In recent years it has surged in popularity as it has so many advantages over "Bricks and Mortar" poker. Party Poker's new "Anywhere" (Beta) poker room lets you play from your browser, without having to download any extra software. It works with all versions of Windows, Mac and Linux, and will run in Internet Explorer (version 5 onwards), Mozilla Firefox (v1.0 onwards) and Safari (v1.3 onwards). Pacific Poker have introduced a "Poker School" to help "educate, entertain, communicate and share this great game". The current most popular lessons are "Playing Texas Hold Em", "Strategy For Starters" and "Know Your Self".
